Tilda with Posies

It's my turn for the dry embossing challenge and I had to showcase this new Sizzix embossing folder.  I love it.  It combines my favorite dotted swiss folder with a wonderful flourish in the middle.  I sanded down the embossing so the blue underneath would pop up.  My die cut is a Spellbinder Label 4 that was embossed and sprayed with BG0000 around the edges before being taken out of the die.  I'm crazy about this Tilda, too.  I like the way her coat flows; it's fun to color.  And, at my house, we're all about the flowers.  I touched a dot of yellow Stickles in the center of each flower and used Waterfall Stickles on her dress.  I have a bit of White Sharpie Poster Paint on her shoes and the bottom of her dress (Suzanne Dean included it in our goodie package when I took her class).  She's awesome, by the way.

Paper:  Core'dinations Black Magic, Cryogen, Bazzill; Stamps: Magnolia Tilda w/Flower Pot, StampingScrapping.com Frou Frou Stamps; Ribbon: Stash; Stickles: Yellow, Waterfall; Spellbinder Labels 4; Sizzix Flourish, Dots & Ribbons Embossing Folder; Copics: [Background BG000][Skin E00, E11, R20][Coat/Dress B95, B91, B93][Hair E30, E21, E33][Shoes E41, E43, E42][Pot E99, E19][Flowers/Tag E40, R85, R81, Y35, Y38, YG05,][Ground W3]  For more information, please see my blog.

Emboss Challenge!

I chose Tilda with Cherries that I colored with prismacolor pencils for my emboss challenge card.  I started my card base with my Scor-Pal and then used my Grand Calibur for my Spellbinders dies and my embossing folders.  My butterflies were made from a punch with some stick on pearls added to them.  I added some ribbon, a button, and some flowers to complete the card.  Hope you link up your embossed Magnolia project and play along with us!  : )

Dry Embossing Background Challenge

Hello Maggie Lovers,

Good Day to All!!

We have a new challenge over here today and it is proposed by me, Vivi. I hope you like it and come on over to play it us!

My proposal is to make a background using dry embossing. I just love dry embossing... so here is my card:

I used sizzix template on my background and embossed it using my Grand Calibur machine.. but unfortunately you cant see much.. but there is hearts on it... this is my fave embossing plate... I use it all the time!!

I cut the white square with
eyelet square nestabilities, also using my Grand Calibur. Red rectangule paper was cut with Martha Stewart punch! love this punch!
For my image I picked Tilda with Heart Lace and colored her with copic markers.
I hope you like my card and come on over to play with us!!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Hugs,

Vivi

Edwin and Tilda graduate

I don't have any graduates in my family this year so I had no reason to ink these little beauties until this challenge.  I used a size 10 card as my canvas; you can add so many more elements to a card if you use this size.  If you have a die cutting machine, cutting images to fit 9 1/4" by 4" is much easier than the tiny embellishments we normally have to cut to fit on a smaller card.  Cardstock should be cut 9 1/4" by 8" and scored at 4".  Fit this card in a business sized envelope that you can purchase almost anywhere.  While previewing this post, I realized that some well-placed stars scattered around this card would really jazz it up some.  What do you think?

Paper: DCWV Black & White Prints, DCWV Latte Cardstock Matstack; Magnolia Graduate Tilda, Magnolia Graduate Edwin, Cornish Heritage Farms Sentiment; Spellbinder Labels Large, Spellbinder Labels Small; Circuit Base Camp for numbers; Crystal, Waterfall, Eucalyptus Stickles; Copics: [skin E000, E00, E11, R20][Hair [Y18, Y19, Y00][E34, E31]][Diploma N0][Robe [YG17, YG11, YG13][B41, B45, B37]][Pants C5, C7][Shoes [C9, C7][E40, E41]][Outline N0, N1]  For more information, please see my blog.

GraduatioN!

Maggie Graduate f

Hello everyone! bringing you a little project for this Graduation challenge. Graduation spell formality…so for this challenge I tried to make a little fun card for the young graduate.

I used Magnolia Stamp colored with copic markers (highlighted  with white pen). Regular cardstock and some K&Co patter paper. All the papers were distressed with distress inks to add a little touch : ). The notebook pages were created using EK punch and all the details made with copic multiliners. Ribbon and flower rhinestone is from my “warehouse” lol.

This is a little simple project that I am sure you can wipe in the last minute…right before the ceremony starts! LOL

You still have time though to join us for this challenge! Grab your tools and show off your talent! I will be posting some more pic and details a bit later on my blog! See ya around!

Good Morning Maggie Lovers!

I hope you had a fantastic weekend! I spent some time in my studio this weekend, just me and my stamps! Love that. I wanted to share with you my little project for our MSL Graduation/Congratulations Challenge. I chose to use Tilda with Rubber Boots along with the Magnolia Romantic Window...and this is what I came up with. I hope you like it!

Congratulations Tilda

Hello Friends,

Today I bring a card for the congratularions challenge.  Before talking about my card I want to show it to you:

For my image I’ve chosen Graduate Tilda from Magnolia Stamps, my first time coloring this image and it was a lot of fun!!  I colored it with copic markers.
To place my Graduate Tilda I cut on my Grand Calibur  a piece of white cardstock with beaded ovals nestabilities

Background papers are my fave ones, Basic Grey, from the new release...  they are gorgeous!!!!   I added rhinestones on the top and bottom of the card…

That is all from me today!  I hope you get the chance to play with us!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,

Vivi

Graduation Challenge Card

Hi!  I chose Tilda with Amaryllis for my graduation card today.  I colored her with prismacolor pencils and used the Grand Calibur and the Spellbinders Grand bookpages die. The limited edition stamp is from the Stamping Scrapping Designs beaded oval set.  I love how clear stamps can be bent a bit to curve around things and still stamp great.  The corner pieces are from the parisian accents Spellbinders set. I used the George and Indie arts cartridges for the butterfly and flowers.  Hope you link up your Graduation or Congratulations card and play along!

Graduation and Congratulations!

Our new challenge. With the end of the school year fast approaching we thought this would be a good time to break out those Congratulations and Graduation stamps, so what will you create? Me, I made this card for a college graduate that is receiving her Master’s.

I normally only add one picture of my project here but then direct you to my blog if you would like to see more pictures but for this one there needs to be two to see the whole thing. So, here is the front of the card. I used my Cricut to make the Graduation hat, some fibers from my stash and a silver star. I stitched the card on my sewing machine.

The inside is where you will find Graduate Tilda

I colored her with copics and then cut her out.

Fresh from Cindy's garden...

Gardening has always been my first love and as a gardener, rabbits have always been the enemy.  But this one is really cute and it's always wonderful to sit in the garden in the sunshine and watch the critters.  And if you can wear an awesome hat, well, that's just icing on the cake.

Magnolia Stamp Lovers loves Flowers

Today it is my turn, Stephanie, to show you my flower themed project. I love flowers, all kinds, all colors and if you visit me often I use them on just about every project I make. That made this project especially easy for me.

While I was editing my photos I realized the front shot of the card was blurry, guess we all have our bad photo days!
I chose to do the card in yellows and blues, a nice spring color. It brightens the day that is for sure.
I have several more photos on my blog if you would like to come and take a look but here is a close up of Tilda colored with Copics.

I used the following supplies:
What kind of flowers will you use?
