New MSL Challenge - Ribbon:

The challenge today asks you to use ribbon in your project. This challenge will run from March 27 through April 9, so pull out some ribbon and play with us.

It's all about the carnival

Today Circus Tilda is visiting the carnival. I would image she's getting ideas about a new act, but I could be wrong. I'm still fascinated with this image; I've used it several times and still love it.
The pennants were cut from a Make the Cut file on my Cricut.
I added Stickles to the flowers to give them a little sparkle. The background is from Make It Crafty and is a digital file.
Paper: Michael's Recollections, Kraft; Stamps: Magnolia Circus Tilda, Make It Crafty Carousel, Papertrey Ticket, SMP Rubber Stamps; Spica: Clear, Sky Blue, Lipstick, Baby Blue, Melon; Pennants from a Make The Cut file; Ribbon: Stash; Flowers: Stamping Scrapping.com; Glossy Accents; Crystal Stickles; Distress Stickles Stormy Sky; for copic colors, please see my blog.

Circus Tilda

Since this is a 'dies' challenge, I was going to make the title of this post "Circus Tilda Dies", but thought that would give the wrong message - lol. This stamp seems to stay on my desk even after a clean up. Something about her intriques me and I can't seem to stop coloring her. This is the first time I've ever perched her on a Spellbinder Fancy Tag, though. She looks perfectly at home there, doesn't she?

I used Glossy Accents on her shoes and lots of Spica on her lace. Her cheeks were dotted with a Sharpie Extra Fine Paint Pen. To see the colors I used, please visit my blog.

Paper: DCWV Nana's Nursery, Bazzill; Magnolia Circus Tilda; Spellbinders: Standard Circle, Fancy Tags, Classic Rectangle Large; Spica: Clear, Blossom, Pink; Crystal Stickles; Glossy Accents

Good Morning Maggie Lovers!

This may sound silly...but this Tilda just puts a smile on my face. Seriously! Her name is Tilda with Balloon, from the So Special Collection and on top of the fact that she's another Tilda that reminds me so much of my daughter, I just think she's such a sweet girl!
Cindy has a fantastic selection of Magnolia Stamps in stock at StampingScrapping.com and along with that, she has the newest stamps from the Butterfly Dreams available for pre-order. I'm not sure how Magnolia keeps making them cuter and cuter...but they do!
I hope you're having a wonderful day.

Happy Tilda

Hello Friends,

Today I bring a card for the dies challenge.
Before talking about my card I want to show it to you:

moto_0476

For my image I’ve chosen Happy Tilda from Magnolia Stamps. I colored it with copic markers.

To place my Happy Tilda I cut on my Grand Calibur  a piece of green cardstock with beaded ovals nestabilities and then a piece of white cardstock with classic oval nestabilities and stamped beaded oval stamp from Stamping Scrapping that matches perfectly with nestabilities.

Background papers are my fave ones, Basic Grey! I added rhinestones on the top and bottom of the card…

Have you seen the Cindy’s line of flowers? They are absolutely gorgeous!

That is all from me today!  I hope you get the chance to play with us!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,

Vivi

Use Dies Challenge

Hi! I used a variety of dies to make this card.  I used my Grand Calibur to cut the Spellbinders circle and labels 4 dies and it also worked great cutting the Doohickey Lace and Swirl dies.   The Gift Tilda Magnolia stamp was colored with prismacolor pencils as were the flowers that I cut out on my circut.  I used the Scor-pal to crease the card perfectly before assembling it together.  I added some ribbon,  a button, and some stitching to top it all off.  Hope you join in on the challenge with your card!!  : )

Dies, dies everywhere

Hello!
Today it is my day, Stephanie, to show you my project. With 17 grandchildren I am always in need of birthday cards and with 14 of those being boys my Edwin stamps get used a lot!

I chose to use Pirate Edwin for my image. Since I don’t have the Barrel, Anchor and skull stamp I sat him on the steps. For my card I used Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities Labels 1 and ran them ALL through my Grand Calibur at the same time! What a great machine.

For the inside of my card I added a gift card envelope along with some Pirate gems from my stash.

The sentiment was made using SSD Label Accents and Fancy Tags stamps. They sure stamp nice don’t they?

What can you do with your dies? We would love to see it so why not enter our challenge?

MSL Die Cut Challenge

MaggieEasterTag

Hello Magnolia fans! Anary here…It is my turn to host a little challenge over here MSL Challenge..and the theme is…DIE CUTS! Yeap…well I can say I am hooked. I use die cuts in almost project I make! : ) Just love these babies! For this project I am using a Magnolia stamp based on a Anglaise die cut from anaRyDesign & StampingScrapping line (developing this dies was a super cool process I wish you all could sit down and brain storm with Cindy : )). The paper is from K&company.  The sentiment was made using jewelry tag punch from SU and copic multiliner…a touch of color was added by using distress inks. I added stikles for added glam! Super easy…Now it is your turn to pull out your die cut and make your magic work! Don’t forget to show off over here MSL challenge, deal? You can win a GC from StampingScrapping!

Come back to see more delightful projects from my DT buddies !! They all rock!

Circus Tilda and her Circus Horse just have so much style and personality, don't you think?

Buttons & Bling

MaggieButtonBling

Good day ladies & gent! here…Today I have a very simple project based of the current MSL challenge Buttons & Bling…hello that is me all over! LOL. That is easy breezy (hey join us over there you can get a GC for StampingScrapping…Cindy is just getting CHA goods in!!). I colored my Magnolia stamp with copic markers and added a little stikles (I cannot live without this stuff..lol although I do like the hard core glitter too! LOL). My papers are from K&company and a little cardstock from stash. Maggie is sitting pretty on a Frou Frou die cut (cut with my bad boy Grand caliber)…stamped with matching Frou Frou Stamping Scrapping design stamp…the impression is super good..I love the little tiny dots around the circle…so darn cute! For added touch, distress inks around the card edges. Added a little button here and there…tied a little thread and va-vom…you got a nice card Smile…I should say envelope card thanks to my loyal score pal..lol. See you all around! If you got any questions on this projects just hop over my blog and send me a shout out! I would love to hear from ya’ll.

Tilda and Edwin are framed....

I had a lot of fun with this challenge once I decided what to do with it. I love making cards but every once in a while I feel as if I want to branch out and do something else. So, I've accumulated lots of things to decorate, but I just don't do it. What's wrong with me? I've had these frames laying around for weeks. I grabbed a frame, some paper, a few buttons, my Spellbinders and Grand Calibur and....Bob's your uncle.

I colored this very quickly because my challenge was due soon. Either I'm getting better at coloring or my eyes are going bad because I think it looks pretty good for the amount of time I spent on it.

These are the flowers from Stamping Scrapping.com. They color wonderfully with either paint or spray.

Grab your kit and get to craftin', you still have time to enter this challenge. Consider something other than a card.

Paper: Cryogen, Making Memories Wedding; Magnolia Summer Tilda w/Bowknot, Baseball Cap Edwin, BlueBirdFlats sentiment; Michaels Unfinished $1.00 frame; Stamping Scrapping.com Flowers; Spellbinder Flourishes; Recollections Adhesive Rhinestones; DMC Metallic Embroidery Thread; Twinkly H2Os Garnet, Ginger Peach; Craftsmart Acrylic Paint Metallic Silver; Mod Podge; Smooch Illuminate; For the copic colors I used, please see my blog.

Buttons and Bling

Hi!  This is Karen here with my first card for Magnolia Lovers!  I am so excited to be here and chose Magnolia Peachy Tilda stamp for my card today.  I colored her with prisma colored pencils and cut her out with Spellbinders Labels 4 on a Grand Calibur.  I also used the Grand Calibur to cut out the Magnolia Doohickey lace and leaf dies.  I used a stamp from SSD Lacy Circles set on the sides of Tilda.  I also used the George and Sweethearts cricut cartridges for the flowers and corner pieces.  The gemstones on the sentiment and corner pieces are i-rock gems.  I added some SSD orchids and some Magnolia garland in with the flowers. I topped it all off with some ribbon and a button and a little bit of stitching.  Hope you all will add your cards and play along!!
