Buttons and Bling

Hello Friends,
Happy Sunday to All!!
It is time for a new challenge  and it is my turn, Vivi,  to host a challenge.
I decided that our cards must have buttons and bling along with a Magnolia image for this challenge!! I love buttons and don’t use that much, so this is an excuse to!! heh
Here is my card:
moto_0516-a
I just love this Romantic Tilda image from Magnolia stamps. This is my first time coloring her… can’t believe!!
I colored my image with the following copic markers: R46, R29, R29, R22, R59, E01, E00, E000, R20, Y18, Y15, YG67, C2, C1, C00.
Background papers are from Basic Grey.  I love basic grey papers..
Have you noticed that I distressed the papers  I had never done this  before and I love the result.. I used paper distresser from Stamping Scrapping.
Button that I used in the center of the flower is from Gallore Buttons and for the bling I used rhinestones from KC. Both of them are on sale at Stamping Scrapping Store.
I hope you can join us for some fun!!!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs,
Vivi

Birthday Tilda in Pastel

I love this image. She's got the sweetest expression on her face. It's one of the images from the last release. I've been working on the dot technique around the image and while I like the look, I don't think I have it down yet. You have until the 26th to enter this challenge, so grab your coloring tools and start working.

Paper: DCWV The Luxury Stack; Stamps: Tilda with Small Gift, Belles 'n Whistles Table and Cupcake; BlueBirdFlats Sentiment; Cuttlebug Corner Embellishment; Ribbon: Stash. For copic colors, please see my blog.

Ballerina Tilda

Hello Maggie Lovers,

guess what?  Today is my turn to show a card for the pastel color challenge at Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge Blog

Well, I wanted to make a card with other color than light pink as I have been making many cards with pink color lately..

Then, had to decided which  image I would make my card.. so picked Ballerina Tilda from Magnolia Stamps..  I know we imagine a ballerina with pink dress but as I said before, I wanted to go with other color than pink.. soooo.. I chose light blue… and here is my card:

I think turned out cute in the end and I`m pleased with it. This image is so cute that any color goes with it, don`t you think?

I colored my image with copic markers BG02, BG01, B00, E47, E33, E53, E01, E00, E000, R20, C2, C1.

Have seen Cindy`s new line of flowers?  check it out here, they are gorgeous!!!

Ok Friends, that is all from me today!
Many thanks for stopping by and can`t wait to see what you are coming up with!!

Just you and me

Maggie_YouandMe_front
Hello Maggie fans...anaRy  here....My little project was created as a wish of full love..everywhere.  Where does it start? Just with your and me! I used Magnolia stamps colored using using copic markers...all soft pastel colors (theme of this delightful challenge at MSL). To add a little sparkle...what else but stikles (cannot wait to get my new ones)? LOL. The heart background was created using Sizzix textured plate...I run this baby on my grand caliber and whoa...nice results! I love this machine...The sentiment is Gilli Stamp you and me, on a Dhalia nestabiltie cut. The doodling was made with copic multiliner. I wanted to add more dimension and flair to where my sentiment was so I add a little flower from StampingScrapping line...and da-da...the pop up came to life :). The edging and stenciling was made using distress ink and distress ink tool from Ranger. All things consider this project was super quick to finish...(catchin' save some therapy money lol)..so why don't you try? You can see more pictures and list of materials on my blog...See you all!  Huggies,
anaRy

Spring is about Pastels

Hi, Magnolia Lovers,

Today we have a new challenge for you and we have chosen Pastels. Now, I don’t know about you, but pastels to me mean spring. Flowers blooming, birds singing, trees blooming.  What does spring mean to you?

Before we start though I would like to announce the winner of our glitter challenge and let me tell you we enjoyed coming around and seeing your beautiful creations!

Ramdom.org has chosen #37 and that is …….

Tracy of Playtime Creation

I chose Waiting Tilda for my image. Isn’t she a cutie? For my card I made an easel using my Spellbinders Grand Calibur and Grand Labels 1. I used the tutorial on SSDT on making an easel card using the Grand Nestabilities. Be sure to check it out! I also cut out three other sizes and turned two on their sides to get this shape. The butterflies were cut from paper of the same as the base and layers.

Look at these flowers ….. these are from SSD and are called Color Me White.  These flowers can be sprayed, chalked, anything and Stamping Scrapping has had these specially made for the store. They are awesome to work with and Cindy carries several different sizes.

More pics are available on my blog if you would like to see them.

Now that you have seen my creation let’s see yours! Remember, just leave us a direct link in Inlinkz and we will stop by and visit!

And here is a closer view on the image:

I used golden stickles on the key and all around the rectangule where Tilda holding a Key is place.
Have you seen all the magnolia stamps that are sold at Stamping Scrapping?  there are so many!!!
Ok, to color my image I used copic markers . Flowers are from prima. I cut around the green rectangule with Martha Stewart Daisy Border Punch.  DP is from basic grey!
I hope you like my card and come on over to play with us!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs

Love You Truly

Today it is my turn, Stephanie, to show you my creation for the Glitter challenge and boy did I use it!

IMG_1660 (Small)

I chose to use three Magnolia images for my card. Sitting Wedding Edwin, Sitting Wedding Tilda and Wedding Arch. Instead of coloring the arch flowers I used paper roses in Ecru, Pink and Deep Red. I also added dimension to the arch and Tilda and Edwin. I added a bow that I made with my bow easy. I added Ranger Stickles around the edge of the card, on Tilda’s dress and on all the roses. I also added some glittered swirls to each side of the card.

Here is a side profile of the dimension.

Now it’s your turn. What can you do with a Magnolia stamp and some glitter?

Happy Valentines!

Maggie_Valentines

Hello Maggie lovers here!!! Today I bring you a sweet magnolia card for valentine’s day! Super simple…I colored Maggie_ Kitchen with Copic markers and I used some regular cardstock from my stash to make the card bases….Now the cool thing is that I created the LOVE  background with Gilli Sentiment stamp Love 1 and Love 2! I go mad with these sentiments….as you can use as it is or stamp in group to create a nice patterned paper!!! Over here I have another sample how to use these stamps… My little love tag is made with our lovely die () cut…Anglaise…Don’t forget they are on pre order and will be shipping sooner then you think! The heart stamped in the die cut is a Gilli Stamp accessory…Heart : )…and the I love you…stamp from SS design stamp set Frou Frou ( this set has a ton of cute things that match beautifully on the Frou frou tags die cut!!!).

Come back for more inspiration from my amazing team mates!! Pull your stamp and join us for a LOVEly time!

Fairy dust everywhere...

My husband calls glitter 'fairy dust'. On garbage day, when he's emptying my craft room garbage can into our large bin, the fairy dust falls out in great quantities. What can I say? I love the bling. My collection of all things glitter fills up large quantities of drawers and bins. In fact, I'm always discovering it because it's out of sight. I recently discovered the Zing Embossing Powders and they have a great line of glitter embossing powders. So, glitter and gold - how can you go wrong? This card for the Magnolia Stamp Lover's 'glitter' challenge is a favorite of mine. It's simple, the entire card is the same cardstock, layers are separated by the 18kt gold around the top layer, it's elegant and it will be given to my husband on Valentine's day along with tickets to see the Yanni concert in Peoria, IL in March. SSSSHHHHHHHH, he doesn't know yet.

Paper: Stash; Stamps: Magnolia Tilda w/Hat, Flourishes "I Love Roses"; Krylon 18kt Gold Leafing Pen; Spica Sand; Zing Glitter Finish Gold Embossing Powder; Copics: [skin R20, E00, E000, E01][Hair E30, E33, E31][Pants B91, B93, B96][Shirt/Hat E50, E53][Shoes E34, E35]. For more information about this card, please see my blog.
