Align Center

Congratulations to entry #42, Nancie Quah! You're a winner.
Please email Stephanie at hester.stephanie at gmail.com.

And now...it is my turn to host the next challenge and since, I love glitter, sparkle and bling, I thought it would be super fun to have a Glitter Challenge. This card is full of glitter and sparkle too. I think I may have stickled everything I could on this card. The stamp is Ballerina Tilda and I think this little girl is all about sparkle.

Sentiment Focus

Today it is my turn, Stephanie, to show you my creation for the sentiment challenge.

IMG_1645 (Small)

I chose Circus Tilda for my image. Following Mindy’s directions on the SSDT blog I made an easel card. Using my Grand Calibur and the Grand Standard Circles produced this adorable easel card. I stamped the stars, covered them with Ranger Stickles and then cut out. My bows are made using the Bow easy.

Tilda was stamped on Copic X-press with Memento Tuxedo Black and then colored with Copics.

There are still a couple of days to enter your creation featuring a sentiment so come on, what are you waiting for?

If you would like to see more pictures and a list of Copics used hop on over to my blog.

Have a great day!

Being Sentimental!!

Hey Maggies Lovers,

as this fortnight we are all Sentimental, I, Vivi, would like to show you my card for the challenge:

I received this image in a swap and this is my first time using this Magnolia Stamp image. I don’t know which collection it is but I thought it was cute and perfect my my sentiment challenge!

Sentiment is from Stamping Scrapping Designs Stamps that matches perfectly with spellbinders nestabilities. Nesties I’m using in this card is named Beaded Ovals. I added red stickles all around the oval cut  and all around the Heart that Tilda is holding!

On the top left and botton right corner I added red half adhesive pearls too.

Background papers are from free digi papers that I got from internet. Flowers are from prima flowers… Ah, have you seen Cindy’s own line of flowers that are on pre-order.. OMG, I’m sure you don’t want to miss it… they are gorgeous!!!

So now, Maggies Lovers, come one over to play with us.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hugs,

Vivi

A Magnolia Sentiment

Making containers has always been my first love. It's very much like decorating a card and I've even been able to combine the two on occasion. Cindy doesn't have this stamp in stock right now, but if you contact her, I'm sure she'd be pleased as punch to order it for you. This box works up quickly and has its own enclosure. One strip of tacky tape holds it together for you and it holds a good bit. This die is meant for the Sizzix Big Shot Pro which can be ordered from Cindy at StampingScrapping.com; she can also order the dies.

Paper: Stardream Metallic Antique Gold, Stash, Anna Griffin Christmas Scrapbook; Stamp: Magnolia Happy New Year; Zing Gold Embossing Powder, Ribbon: Stash; Flowers: Michaels, Sizzix Box, Carry All #656395

Sentiment Challenge

Hello Magnolia Stamp Lovers, our next challenge is a sentiment challenge.  Sentiments can sometimes be a forgotten part of card making because the images are the fun part, however, they do play an important role.  For this challenge you must include a sentiment and a Magnolia image on your card.  Try to make your sentiment a prominent part of your card.  I have used Japanese Tilda for my sentiment project.  magnolia sentiment [1280x768] I have stamped Tilda  on some Cryogen card stock and then colored her with my copic markers to match the colors in the background paper.  It is so hard to see the shimmer of the cryogen paper in the photo, but is really beautiful in real life.  I did something a little different with the sentiment on this card.  I used the Pagoda cricut cartridge and cut the kanji tag for the word Prosperity.  I think it adds a little bit of zen to the card.  I put a giant flower up in the corner that I airbrushed with my copics to match the flowers Tilda is holding.

Now it is time for me to announce the winner of the Blues challenge.  The winner chosen by random.org is random msl 16

Rene, please email Stephanie at hester.stephanie at gmail.com to get your prize.

Feeling Blue?

Good morning Magnolia Lovers. I'm happy to be able to share with you my card for the Magnolia Blue Challenge and I'm even more happy to see all of the amazing cards that are already entered in the challenge!
For my card I chose Tilda with a Bike. I find she works perfectly for so many things, but even if she didn't I still adore her. :)

True Blue

It's my turn to post my blue Magnolia project. I have used an older Tilda that I think is absolutely adorable- Standing Fall Tilda. I colored her with different shades of blue Copics- B21, B93, and B95. I wanted to make her look a little shappy so I went over everything with my W1 copic to make it look a little grungier.

Then I added my embellishments. I airbrushed the white roses with my B93 copic so they would match Tilda's outfit. I threw in some springs of pearls for a little added flair. To finish the card off, I added a sentiment from Stamping Scrapping Deisgn's Beaded Circles set.

Cherry Tilda!

Hello Maggie Lovers,

Today is my turn (Vivi) to show you a card for the Blue color challenge.
So here goes my card:

For my card I used Cherry Tilda from Magnolia Stamps that you can find on sale at Stamping Scrapping.

To color my girl I used copic markers  B29, B02, B00, R59, R27, E01, E00, E000, R20, E37 & E33.

The white square was cut with eyelet square nestabilities on my big shot and in the center is a lacey square stamp that matches perfectly with spellbinders and it is from Stamping Scrapping Design Stamp.

Background papers are from Basic Grey, flowers, rhinestones and ribbon from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by today!!!

Hugs,

Vivi

MSL 'Blues' Challenge

I am honored to be the host of the very first 2011 Magnolia Stamp Lover's Challenge. We're starting off with 'blues' and I've got lots of blues to show you. This box was created using the Big Shot Pro's Matchbox Die cut in Stardream Metallic Lapis Lazuli. The design paper is from K&Co's Que Sera Sera. The bubbles are from Cloud 9 Design (I purchased a huge lot of these from Big Lots for next to nothing). The Magnolia stamp is from the new 2011 So Special Collection. I have been unable to find the names of these stamps because they are not out for individual purchase yet. Tilda is stamped on a Spellbinder's Big Scalloped Oval. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up and the ribbon is from my stash. You have until January 15th to enter your card in the 'blues' challenge using the link at the beginning of the blog. We're looking forward to seeing your creations.
