Magnolia Stamp Lovers welcomes Autumn

As September draws closer so do the colors of Autumn. Reds, oranges, yellows, greens and browns. I love this time of year with all of the trees changing colors, the cool brisk air and the rustle beneath your feet while walking on leaves.

To welcome this time of year our challenge this time is to use fall colors on your creation. These can be a combination of these colors, your interpretation of what fall is to you or even just a fall stamp …. as long as it is a Magnolia.

Since I am writing this post while the current challenge, Turquoise and Brown, is still going on we will announce our winner later on 08/29 so be sure to come back and see if it is you. Also, beginning with this challenge will be anchoring Inlinkz at the top so it is easier for you to enter our challenge but don’t forget to check all of the DT creations as we love hearing from you!

Onto to our challenge.

I masked my images using Loving Couple and Wedding Arch.  My sentiments are Magnolia’'s Loving Wishes and Happy Anniversary from the new SWL  Congratulations set.

On the arch I used Ultra Fine Strawberry Flower Soft. I just love this stuff!!

For more pics come on over to Stephanie’s blog and take a peek.

We can’t wait to see what great creations you will create for this challenge.

Cindy's turquoise and brown...

This color challenge was very much outside my comfort zone and I had to stretch in order to finish it. Sometimes it's really important to get outside that zone in order to grow. I'm not sure how much growing I did, but here it is. To see the full list of "ingredients" please check out my blog.
The Spica pens, and the Smooch Illuminate can be found at Cindy's store. Cindy also has a full line of Magnolia stamps for your coloring pleasure. Time is running out on this challenge, please find the blue frog and join today.

Mindy's Edwin Creation

Well it's my turn to post an Edwin creation. Only having one daughter, I don't purchase many Edwins. I don't have much use for boy cards and they are really difficult for me to make. I feel like I can't use any of my girlie embellishments on them. I decided to used one of the new nautical Edwins. This little guy will be part of the soon to be released Bon Voyage collection. His official name is Dangling Sea Edwin.

He is colored with copic markers. I used B39, B37, and B34 for the navy of his shorts and socks, some C1 and C00 to shade the white parts, and R29, R27, and R24 for his little tie. I used the warm greys- W5, W3, and W1 for the anchor. Well, I hope you have enjoyed my Edwin creation and I would love to see some of yours.
