Paper Piecing …. what fun!

Hello friends! I’m Stephanie and it’s my turn to show you what I made for this challenge.

IMG_1033 (Small)

I chose some bright colors for mine and matted each color with a corresponding color. My piecing isn’t as sophisticated as the other gals but I did do a little cutting on Miss Tilda and as you can tell she is in a few pieces herself. If you haven’t see this stamp before it is Bandage Tilda and Cindy has her in stock! For a complete description please come on over to my blog.

So, are you ready? Let’s see your entry!

Fun With Paper Piecing

Paper Piecing is a great way to kick your stamping projects up a notch. I love the look of it and it makes people wonder how you did it. I know I was stumped by it for a long time. For my paper pieced project I have used one of my all time favorites Sweetheart Tilda.

I have her sitting on the Magnolia strawberry from one of the Summer collections. I have used pieces of the paper for her dress. I also used some of the paper for the brad decoration in the center of the flower which was made with the chatterbox easy brad maker. I love using this to make my own coordinated brad.

Now, on to the important business. The winner of our previous challenge Have a Nice Trip is............
Adeline Ng!!!!!!! Adeline, please email me at mindy rapp at gmail.com so that I can get the prize information for you.

Here is the inlinkz button for you to add your paper pieced creations!!!!!

Oh La La

Good Morning Magnolia Lovers! For my card, I chose Bridesmaid Tilda and the Eiffel Tower. Tons of Primas, along with Pink, Black and a touch of lace helped to give the card the feel of Tilda Goes to Paris.

StampingScrapping.com has all the brand new Bon Voyage collection up for pre-sale right now. If that's not enough though....Cindy and Kevin have tons and tons of other precious Tildas and Edwins to choose from.

Have a fantastic weekend

Mindy's Disney Celebration

Today it is time for Mindy's vacation themed project. Mindy has chosen to use this cute little Summer Pigtail Tilda and dress her in Disney colors waiting for her favorite roller coaster.

This type of card is called a criss cross card and is very fun and easy to make. The inside section of the card can be pulled out by the flower and gives you room for either more images or your sentiment.
