GIVEAWAY and A Sketch Challenge!!!

Hello everyone and welcome to the first Magnolia Stamp Lovers challenge!!!  We will be adding challenges to the blog every other week to encourage you to use your supplies and learn a few tricks and get some new ideas along the way.
Ok, so here are the rules- you must use either a Magnolia stamp or one of Cindy's stamps in your project and you must link your project in Mr Linky (if you do not have a blog, you may link it to the photo section of one of Cindy's groups).
After following these few simple rules, your project will be eligible to win a prize!!!!
The prize will be a Magnolia flower stamp and coordinating scent my cards floral scent.  Not bad, huh?
So, here is your first challenge- a sketch challenge.

Here is my interpretation of the sketch.

I used Chilly Tilda.  She can be found here.  I used Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses paper which I think is perfect for this little Tilda since she is bundled up like and eskimo.  I colored her with copics- R39 for her pants and hat, BG000 and BG 10 for her jacket and mittens, G24 for her dress, E33 and E35 for her boots, E21, E00, E000, and R20 for skin and E17 for her hair.  I used polar white flower soft for the trim on her coat and hat.  The sentiment is from Just Rite.  All supplies to make this card can be found at stampingscrapping.com.  Now, lets see what you can come up!  Link your project in Mr Linky.  Be sure to check back daily to see more DT projects, I will post a new one every couple of days to inspire you!

Linda's inspiration

Here is your final piece of inspiration from the design team.  This card comes from the Lovely Linda.  This Tilda, standing fall tilda, is one of my favorites.  I love her hair in those little pigtail braids.  You still have a few more days to get your project in.  Stephanie will be posting a new challenge on Monday, so come on and play with us.

This adorable card comes from Anary.  I love how she made a scene and used so many different textures.  It's great to see how everyone comes up with something totally different from the same sketch.

The fabulous Magnolia design team from Stamping Scrapping.comm has made some projects using the sketch to help inspire your creativity.  I will be adding a new one every couple of days, so be sure to check back and see what other fabulous project has been posted.  The first one I am sharing with you is from Stephanie Hester.

Stephanie used the adorable Jam Tilda on her project.  I think this Tilda is adorable.  She is part of the Yummy for your Tummy collection.

Happy New Year

It is great that with a new year we get the chance to begin again....wipe the slate clean....in computer lingo...refresh! Did you celebrate the beginning of 2010 with a little bubbly or a glass of wine? Today's project features a bottle tag that can accent any beverage. I used the Magnolia stamps, Edwin's snowman and winter fence. The images are colored with Copic markers and embellished with Stickles. Nestabilities were used to mat the snowman and the sentiment; the sentiment was computer generated. Hope you enjoy looking at my tag and decide to make one or two. Linda C
